Dr. Neha Chaudhary, MD is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist on faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and cofounder of Brainstorm, Stanford's Lab for Mental Health Innovation.

She finds creative ways to meet people where they are in order to improve their overall mental health and wellbeing through clinical work and non-clinical research, writing, & consultation.

Her research focuses on the intersection of technology and mental health, with a specific interest in understanding online safety for youth and leveraging tech to promote early intervention and resilience in kids. With her colleagues from Brainstorm she consults to tech companies like Pinterest to codevelop emotional wellbeing tools, teaches courses on leadership in mental health innovation, and advises startups and investors in the mental health space.

She's a writer and medical journalist, with articles and advice featured in The New York TimesThe Washington PostForbesCNNABC NewsGood Morning AmericaWired, and more. She has worked in the ABC News Medical Unit and has made special guest appearances on Midday Live with Dr. Drew and Slate’s Life Effects podcast. She strongly believes in the power of journalism and storytelling to make mental health mainstream and educate people on how to live healthier lives. She specializes in parenting but covers a wide array of topics, upon request.

She worked as a business strategy consultant for Deloitte and has considerable experience practicing telepsychiatry in a number of clinical settings (inpatient, consultation liaison, crisis stabilization, outpatient). She completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School and her M.D. and adult psychiatry residency at UT Southwestern.
